Yummmm. Home made birthday cake. Well, there was a box involved. But, it was the real "add butter" version. Vanilla custard in the middle and on the top. Custard made on a burner. When the custard and the cake meld for a day or so, a new texture is introduced and one of my favorite combinations.
Home made whipped cream. Toasted almonds. Fresh strawberries.
Moist and Delicious!
