Coconut Tarts, Princess Cake and San Francisco, oh my!

Last night - THE CANAPE CART'S food was awesome. Jan made these incredible coconut cupcakes that reminded me of the San Francisco Chinatown favorite: Coconut Tarts. It's in incredible taste of cake, coconut and almonds. YUMM. There's also, a unique texture which I LOVE. I just gooooogled coconut tarts - and here's what came up:

Also, all this reminds me of Victoria Pastry, in North Beach (San Francisco). They also, had this cake cookie thing, with hints of almonds and coconut - an amazing little pastry. I can't remember the name of it.
